Cloned BioSynthetic Insulin YES or NO

COUNCIL FOR RESPONSIBLE GENETICS
'A Significant Minority' by Megan Romano
[This article reveals that the genetics of Synthetic/Cloned insulin is less than adequate.] “the story of the introduction of human insulin might be repeated by contemporary launching campaigns to introduce pharmaceutical and technological innovations that are not backed up by sufficient proof of their advantages and safety.”
[As a matter of fact the FDA was very shy to approve the Newer Lantus which is not an insulin (it is a foreign protein that reduces blood glucose in diabetics). Lantus was found to cause cancer in some of the lab rats + Lantus irritates the cell when it escorts glucose into the cells. It also causes a sting in most people at the injection sight. Time will tell the mayhem that the current push to switch people to Lantus will cause. My charts show the mayhem in figures that the older synthetics have caused. Death rates have risen dramatically since synthetic insulin was approved for market by the FDA in 1983. ]

Animal vs Cloned and Other BioSynthetic Insulin
  http://members.tripod.com/diabetics_world/born_comments.htm
BY Lynne Born

Our thanks to GeneWatch, Megan Romano and Lynne Born for their diligent work on this issue that is of paramount concern to all diabetics world wide.
""he found the numbers of diabetics who could not successfully switch from animal to GE insulin to be 36% and then 66% hardly insignificant and not a minority. Further, Ms. Romano's article mentions the 90 deaths, 600 hospitalizations and 4,000 Adverse Event Reports (ADRs), which Ms. Romano got from FOIA information that was received by diabetic activists. To put this in perspective, the cholesterol lowering drug Baycol was pulled from the market after 50 deaths worldwide over a period of several years, while the 90 deaths Ms. Romano mention happened in only one year, and in the United States only. Additionally, one of the many people I have been working with, submitted a FOIA request on animal insulin that covered the same time period. While the ADRs from the FOIA on GE insulin that Ms. Romano references is several inches thick, the FOIA on animal insulin contained no deaths and was only 28 pages long."

"Promotes insulin production:"...
"this organic compound remains and functions just like insulin as a natural alternative. With increased production over time, stress on the pancreas is relieved which allows it to naturally heal and develop new beta cells with a different signature. These new beta cells are not susceptible to the body's immune system malfunction since they can not be targeted."

Please let me know if this works for you.

The Farm http://www.discoveryofinsulin.com/Banting.htm
Other CLIPS from Fredrick Banting's history:

"when the Bantings took over the farm in 1891. The granaries and hay loft were always full, and silage was stored in the silo, which the Bantings constructed in July, 1909. In the barn, the Banting boys not only worked with all the animals, but under William's encouragement, systematically investigated any animal death which occurred. There is no doubt that the knowledge gained here assisted Fred in the discovery of insulin. (The idea to use four month fetal calf pancreas came to Fred during a walk past the abattoirs in Toronto)." "---Fred used his money for education. In the summer of 1921, however, Fred Banting was completely broke. William was covering his loans. He and his son Thompson helped fund Fred's work on insulin during the summer of 1921. Fred was not receiving a salary for his work." "---Alan Banting, Nelson's son, recorded the story of Fred pacing back and forth in the parlour of the old house one Sunday afternoon. He was lamenting the frustrations he was encountering with the insulin work in Toronto."
